Tony was our great neighbour and friend, full of fun and ideas, especially helping us design our garden. We did many enjoyable bike rides, three London to Brighton , London to Cambridge and many more. This photo shows three of Tony's pleasure's in life: cycling, poring over a map, with a pint of ale to hand!
Sadly taken from us by Covid, it crept into your care home and sadly you couldn't fight it. Now with dad again, watching over us all, which gives us joy. Gone from our sight but never from our hearts xxxx
Dad, Parkinson's may have been a sneaky thief, filching life from you when you weren't looking, but it could not take your good human nature, which you preserved to the end. You were and are a happy soul. And it is that which I will remember. All my love, Keith xxx
Mollie, you were such a strong willed, kind & independant lady. I'm so thankful that I managed to get to know you. You were only a part of my life for a short while but you left a lasting memory in my children's & my heart. It's comforting knowing you are finally at peace from the pain & suffering. You will be deeply missed. XxxX
Parkinson's took so much, but gave so much in the relationships you reaffirmed during your later years. You never seemed scared of what comes next, and we hope we did everything we could to ensure your journey is a safe one. We'll miss the scuffing of your feet, the Sunday afternoons in the coffee shop, and your never ending resilience. We'll all miss you so much.
This kind, gentle witty soul passed away on 5 December, he is missed so much by me, his daughter, step sons and 6 granddaughters. A wonderful intelligent journalist and writer who had many adventures in life. So loved.
Marian Gibbs, much loved Wife, Mother, Grandmother. Proud, Resilient, Kind and caring. Would have been married 60 years to John this year. An amazing woman who will be missed so much, our hearts are broken
